Seven days in the life of the actress.
Friday night drinks? Meet me at:
My friend's place for wine with dinner and a game of Gin Rummy.
Where I'll be wearing my new:
$3 cardy from a Hastings hospice shop. I'm so jetset.
And this weekend I'm planning on:
Action-packed baking, reading the paper and going for a run.
But first I'll need to refuel at my favourite cafe:
Salta (formerly known as Atlas) - fantastic coffee served by gorgeous women.
Saturday evening. If my dreams came true there would be a gig by:
Bressa Creeting Cake, Guns N' Roses (circa 1987, Appetite for Destruction-era), Fleetwood Mac (circa 1975), Paul Simon (Graceland album), the Mint Chicks, David Bowie (Hunky Dory), The Doors, Joy Division, Diana Ross & the Supremes, Frankie Valli, and Jimi Hendrix, finished off with Bill Withers (live at Carnegie Hall).
But if there's nothing else doing I'll probably just:
Listen to their records.
On my stereo/headphones right now is:
National Radio podcasts (I love Kim Hill while going for a run).
The books I can't put down are:
The Clean Industrial Revolution by Ben McNeil, James K. Baxter: Poems by Sam Hunt and Imperial Bedrooms by Bret Easton Ellis.
The TV show I take the phone off the hook for:
True Blood, 7 Days, Grand Designs.
The movie I've been dying to see:
I love zombie films, but I need valium to watch them. So all of George Romero's Dead series washed down with valium.
A non-cooking Monday night means takeaways from:
Canton Cafe. I have been known to starve myself during the day so I can shove more in my gob at dinner.
Or a splash-out Wednesday night restaurant would be:
I wish I could afford to go to Meredith's all the time. Amazing food.
