Huffer HQ. The boys supply the beers, the fun and the raddest workspace. From there maybe to Bonita for a little nightcap, finishing up with a quarter pack from KFC.
Where I'll be wearing my new:
Auckland high fashion, possibly Elvis-inspired Roy Orbison haircut.
And this weekend I'm planning on: Being in Spain. I can't actually believe that I will be somewhere further away than Australia, with some amazing company interviewing the stars in Madrid.
But first I'll need to refuel at my favourite cafe:
Good One on Douglas St, that place is super swell.
Saturday evening. If my dreams came true there would be a gig by:
Arcade Fire. Their new album Suburbs is incredible and one band I would really love to see live.
But if there's nothing else doing I'll probably just:
Chuck a chicken and some veges in the oven, pour a vino, hang out with the buddies and watch a good flick.
On my stereo/headphones right now is:
Sufjan Stevens. It's amazing what gems the old iPod shuffle brings up.
The books I can't put down are:
John Grisham's - this guy can tell an elaborate tale, and keep you hooked for hours. So dangerous if you have a big day looming as they are impossible to stop.
The TV show I take the phone off the hook for:
Entourage, this show is unparalleled. Apparently there is a movie coming out. Wouldn't mind meeting those boys - such great fellows. Shut the gate.
The movie I've been dying to see:
Due Date. If it's anything like The Hangover it's bound to be a hoot!
A non-cooking Monday night means takeaways from:
Ponsonby International Foodcourt. Always something there to tickle your fancy.
Or a splash-out Wednesday night restaurant would be:
SPQR. Not really a huge splash but for a teacher/presenter that's about as far as the budget reaches.
The final episode of Pick Me MTV screens tonight at 9.30pm, on MTV Sky Channel 014. Sam will join Jay Reeve on the red carpet at the MTV European Music Awards in Madrid, Spain.
