Friday night drinks?

Golden Dawn. After living in Wellington for 8 years it's nice to have a little piece of it here.

Where I'll be wearing my new:

Hopefully something from the incredible new winter collection The Secretary from Kate Sylvester.

And this weekend I'm planning on:

Re-arranging our chickens' lifestyle block at the back of our section.

But first I'll need to refuel at my favourite cafe:

Ripe on Richmond Rd. Their recipe book is like the bible in our house.

Saturday evening, if my dreams came true there would be a gig by:

The Beatles with special guest Lawrence Arabia. And possibly Talking Heads. It would be a small intimate affair.

But if there's nothing else doing I'll probably just:

Cook something delicious at home and watch a movie or two.

On my stereo/headphones right now is:

Either Fleetwood Mac or Lana del Ray.

The books I can't put down are:

The Slap by Christos Tsiolkas and Art Lover by Anton Gill - a biography of Peggy Guggenheim.

The TV show I take the phone off the hook for:

The West Wing. Aaron Sorkin is a genius, and this show is some of his best work; witty, intelligent writing and incredible performances.

The movie I've been dying to see:

Wes Anderson's new film Moonrise Kingdom.

A non-cooking Monday night means takeaways from:

I'm a coeliac so eating out is very difficult. But thankfully Burger Fuel do great gluten-free burgers.

Or a splash-out Wednesday night restaurant would be:

Cocos Cantina on K Rd. Their calamari and polenta chips are exceptional.
