Seven days in the life of the Kiwi actress.
Friday night drinks? Meet me at:
My house with a bottle of wine. It always goes down a treat, or if we are to venture out, the Gypsy Tearooms.
Where I'll be wearing my new:
Nike air max (unless high-heels are strictly required).
And this weekend I'm planning on:
Performing in Oh Baby!
But first I'll need to refuel at my favourite cafe:
Bambina in Ponsonby. Can't get enough of their half & half for brekky, and of course the fabulous staff.
Saturday evening. If my dreams came true there would be a gig by:
My very talented friends jamming in my own backyard, a good ol' sing-along with guitars, spoons, harmonicas.
But if there's nothing else doing I'll probably just:
Watch American Idol or worse Dating in the Dark I know tragic, but somehow intriguing.
On my stereo/headphones right now is:
Some really bad music that I need to change. Suggestions?
The books I can't put down are:
The Signature of God and a pile of books I half read then bounce between until they are all completed, sometimes taking a good part of the year.
The TV show I take the phone off the hook for:
Anything Kiwi of course. But I must say Wipe Out gives me a good old giggle and I am a Packed To The Rafters fan.
The movie I've been dying to see:
Love Birds and The Fighter.
A non-cooking Monday night means takeaways from:
Sawadee Ponsonby. Love the Tom Kha Gai (mmmm spicy coconut soup). Just like Thailand.
Or a splash-out Wednesday night restaurant would be:
Prego in Ponsonby, I can't go past a bowl of giant green Sicilian olives, and a glass of wine accompanied by a thin based margarita pizza and of course fabulous company - my husband.
