Friday night drinks? Meet me at: This week, I'll be at the Cadbury Crunchie Comedy Gala for the opening of the NZ International Comedy Festival but normally just come round to mine. Bring wine and cheese. Oh, and some milk. I forgot to do the shopping.
Where I'll be wearing my new: Star Wars Adidas trainers. Geek chic in white leather with a Stormtrooper on the sole.
And this weekend I'm planning on: If you don't come to my place with groceries I'll damn well have to go shopping. Oh, and work on my show.
But first I'll need to refuel at my favourite cafe: Trends in Ellerslie. Great food and service and, if I mention it here I won't feel quite so bad about forgetting to tip sometimes.
Saturday evening. If my dreams came true there would be a gig by: Bill Hicks opening for George Carlin. They're both dead, I'm so Goth.
But if there's nothing else doing I'll probably just: Procrastinate and Tweet.
On my stereo/headphones right now is: My morning drive CD today was The Whitlams' Eternal Nightcap. A little Aussie melancholy always makes me feel better.
The books I can't put down are: The last book I read was Augusten Burroughs' Dry. It made me feel well-adjusted.
The TV show I take the phone off the hook for: Hooked on Entourage. When it's on, Waihopai hippies could be cutting my roof down with a sickle and I wouldn't notice.
The movie I've been dying to see: I have had a craving to watch The Adventures Of Pluto Nash for months but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have it on DVD that I can borrow?
A non-cooking Monday night means takeaways from: I am a chicken kebab connoisseur, so I'll pick up a couple of those.
Or a splash-out Wednesday night restaurant would be: The Engine Room for a steak, rare. I'm so Goth.
