Meh: Kristen Stewart

Meh: Let's be fair, while this isn't K-Stew's worst red carpet outing nor is it her best. I really hate the high-necked chainmail top - and the dress underneath looks like it's mere millimetres from indecent exposure. On the plus side, it does look cleaner and crisper than her usual ensembles. So that's something.

Hate it: Okay so it's not an out-and-out trainwreck but there is some serious frump factor going on here that is totally unnecessary. I feel like this could have been amazing, if the skirt was hiked up to be a slim line mini. Or make the skirt a full-length maxi and chop the billowing sleeves off. The applique and lace texture are really quite gorgeous - but there's just too much of everything going on here.

Irrational love: Janelle Monae

Irrational love: Is it wrong that I secretly adore this? It reminds me Kylie Minogue's classic album cover Kylie - released in 1988. Sure, I'm not going to start rocking this look myself - but Janelle is making it work. And that clutch is adorable.

Love it: J-Law may be the star of the franchise but ever since the first Hunger Games premiere, Elizabeth Banks has been determined to steal the spotlight, busting out a series of exquisite gowns. This is no exception. Sensational.

Meh: Jennifer Lawrence

Meh: As for the leading lady herself, this is nice. The skirt is flirty and fun. I like the quilted texture. But that twee floral print annoys the hell out of me. It's dowdy and dull and ruining the whole thing for me. Let's go back to Banks to cheer up.

SWINTON! So, it's a universally acknowledged truth that Tilda Swinton can wear whatever the hell she wants and look amazing. This simply confirms it. Sure that hair is Grade A cray. And she's wearing multi-coloured sequins. But she is Swinton.
