MTV will debut its new locally produced show The Mix this Friday with Full Tank hosts Amber Peebles and Jay Reeves.
A combination of music news, videos, celebrity interviews and gossip, The Mix will screen at 6pm every Friday with repeats on Sundays and Wednesdays.
The first episode will feature an exclusive interview with rapper Xzibit and All Black Doug Howlett, who bond over the joys of fatherhood.
The programme will also feature a weekly segment called MTV Gatecrashers, which will Peebles sidle her way into the rowdiest parties around.
MTV Marketing Manager Pip Jamieson said the show is to replace Full Tank, which is on hiatus until the summer.
