KEY POINTS:
Crime watchers and amateur sleuths will be staying at home this September, when Sky launches its new Crime and Investigation Network.
The 24-hour channel will screen back-to-back crime dramas, reality series and documentaries.
Part of the Sky Start Up package, the channel will be available to subscribers at no extra cost and will air on Channel 71 from September 2.
Music fans are also set to get more for their money when C4 begins broadcasting 24-hours a day next month.
The around the clock service will only be available to Sky digital customers or those with a Freeview digital decoder.
The service will kick off on July 7, when C4 screens the Live Earth global music event.
