She may have waltzed off with £11.5m (NZ$27m) in a divorce settlement from 62-year-old Ronnie Wood after 23 years of marriage, but estranged wife Jo Wood, 54, wasn't all laughs and smiles recently when she was snapped breaking down outside the dance studio in West London and seen wiping away tears, while dance partner, Kiwi Brendan Cole, 33, appeared to bear the brunt of her tantrum.
If she signed up to Strictly Come Dancing to show her Rolling Stones husband what he's missing out on as she gets up close and personal on the dance floor with the show's resident lothario, she may have to think again.
We doubt her 21-year-old Russian nemesis Ekaterina Ivanova would be sniffling at the prospect of being put through her paces.
But then, all does not seem rosy in Wood's new codger world where he has set up home with his former cocktail waitress girlfriend who is embarrassingly 41 years his junior.
Today the Daily Mail in Britain reported Ivanova threatened to kill herself after a furious row with the Rolling Stone guitarist at their North London home following a party they hosted for friends.
Police were called after reports of a domestic disturbance, but no arrests were made.
The artist and his muse were heard arguing in the early hours of Monday morning and Ivanova was overheard shouting: "I'm going to kill myself. You are going to find me dead."
The musician is said to have replied: "F*** off home you s***."
Can we take it that Jo Wood, who announced this week she has buried her wedding ring in a coffin, may be rejoicing at the prospect that it's not all happiness and rainbows for her former husband and his whippet blonde gold digging girlfriend?
We assume she will be taking the latest scandal as one small victory. Who wouldn't? Jilted first wives all around the world will be in support.
Wood may have announced recently she is happier since splitting from Ronnie and Ivanova is welcome to him, but the latest news is bound to have added a wry smile to her plumped-up face.
She told the News of the World recently: "She [Ivanova] did me a favour. She has now become me, having to look after Ronnie full-time. And I have become her - free and single. When she was crowing about winning Ronnie from me, I just thought, 'You can have him'. I did my 31 years with him. But my time was up when I finally caught him cheating. And it was time for me to do something else."
Fade out respectfully? Ah, no.
By all appearances Mrs Wood and her many, many millions are finding it hard to suck up the embarrassment and live a quiet life of respectability. Fame, sequins and fake eyelashes beckon.
In this new world of modern love where codgers, cougars and cubs roam freely on the plains of passion, can we take solace in the fact that we learn our own lessons in life and mature wisely?
Doubt it. Jo Wood - who is taking home a flat fee pay packet of £50,000 from Strictly Come Dancing - said: "When they said I was with (Cole) the bad boy of ballroom dancing, I thought, 'Fabulous!' I have been around bad boys all my life. Brendan said every Saturday night we'll all go out after the show."
