Lady Gaga has received a mixed social media reaction to her Sound of Music Oscars medley.
The pop star performed the songs as a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the classic film, and star Julie Andrews appeared on stage.
Gaga may have received a standing ovation but the Twitter reaction was split.
"Her Sound of Music montage made me remember that #LadyGaga is a true artist and talent and more than meat wearables," @SanDiegoMomma tweeted.
"Lady Gaga to now star in Sound of Music on Broadway?" @piersmorgan said.
"Lady Gaga singing a mangled Sound of Music tribute proved every bit as bad an idea as it sounds. #Oscars," @lukebuckmaster added.
