Pop star Miley Cyrus has shut down reports her relationship with her fiance Liam Hemsworth is on the rocks after she was snapped without her engagement ring, insisting her sparkler is at the jewellers getting fixed.
Cyrus fuelled split rumours earlier in March when she stepped out without her flashy Neil Lane diamond, but she has repeatedly denied claims she and the Australian actor are calling off their wedding plans, despite reports suggesting the couple has fallen out.
The Hunger Games star added to the speculation when he pulled out of the premiere of his new movie Empire State so he could extend his vacation in his native Australia without his girlfriend.
But Cyrus insists people are reading too much into press reports and photos, and the Climb singer has taken to Twitter to explain the disappearance of her most prized possession.
In a post on Thursday her back-up singer Lindsey Lee wrote, "had to send off my engagement ring today to get fixed... one of the little diamonds fell out... I feel naked without it :( so sad!"
