Mike Myers has reprised his Austin Powers villain Dr Evil to poke fun at the Sony/North Korea hacking scandal on Saturday Night Live.
In character, the comedian 'interrupted' a skit at the beginning of the show to express his distaste over the cyberterrorism attack on Sony's databases, which led to the cancellation of the Christmas Day release of controversial comedy The Interview.
He poked fun at North Korea's hatred for the film starring James Franco, "The man who single handedly almost killed the Oscars".
Sony bosses cancelled the release of The Interview, last week after the owners of several top US cinema chains refused to screen the film, fearing reprisals from a group calling itself Guardians of Peace.
In the parody movie, Franco and Seth Rogen play hapless journalists assigned to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
