A representative for Mick Jagger confirmed on Friday that the Rolling Stone frontman is "doing very well" after undergoing medical treatment this week.
The treatment has been widely reported to be a heart valve replacement procedure, though Jagger's representative, publicist Fran Curtis, declined to comment beyond the fact that he is "expected to make a full recovery."
"Thank you everyone for all your messages of support," Jagger tweeted Friday afternoon.
"I'm feeling much better now and on the mend - and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job."
