KEY POINTS:

Pros:One of the Big Daddy PS3 franchises, MGS has been around since the original console. Now in full high-def, publisher Konami has gone all-out with lengthy cut scenes that make this as much a movie as a game. All of the Snakey ingredients that made MGS a hit are in the mix, including missile launchers and sniper rifles. Hard and fast action, but strategic gameplay is the key.
Cons: Long cut scenes dilute the experience _ although the presentation is excellent. The movie-style content slows down load speeds.
Verdict: Monk-like patience will be rewarded.
