Mel B's sister blasts 'evil' Stephen Belafonte: 'Rot in hell'

Mel B's sister wants her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte to "rot in hell".

Danielle Brown - who, along with her mother Andrea, was estranged from the former Spice Girls singer for several years because of their contentious relationship with the producer - has branded Stephen a "psychopath" in a social media rant, days after her older sibling was granted a restraining order amid allegations her husband had been abusive throughout their 10-year marriage.

The former Emmerdale actress - whose beloved father Martin passed away last month - wrote on Instagram: "Dear all media I won't be selling a story on my sister never have and never will!! Here is my comment below so you can now leave me and my mum alone and let us be united and grieve the loss of my dad.

"@stephenthinks11 8 years of abusive calls me and my mum have had stating we would never see Melanie again.I am laughing and celebrating as you were wrong. You are a sorry excuse of a man!" she wrote.

She then quoted Beyonce's Irreplaceable lyrics: "To the left, to the left, everything you own in the box to the left."

She continued: "I hope you... go to jail and rot in hell!" before adding a string of hashtags calling Belefonte a "wife beater", "animal killer", "fraud" and "adulterer" among other things.

In her petition for a restraining order, as well as claiming Stephen had hit her, got their nanny pregnant and forced her to take part in threesomes, Mel, 41, accused her estranged husband of deliberately hiding her passport to delay her from seeing her father before his death.

She explained: "I contacted [Stephen] in Los Angeles asking him to send my passport such that I could travel directly from New York to the UK to see my father. I told [Stephen] precisely where my passport was. [Stephen] claimed he couldn't find it, he claimed that it was nowhere in the house.

"I was forced to delay my travel to the UK. I had to return to Los Angeles to retrieve my passport.

"I was unable to find my passport despite specific recall as to where I had left it in the house. I believe [Stephen] took my passport so as to intentionally delay my travel such that I would not see my father prior to his death.

"I was forced to apply for an emergency passport to allow my travel to the UK."
Luckily, Mel received the documents in time to return to Leeds just days before her dad passed away.

The America's Got Talent judge - who has daughters Phoenix, 18, and Angel, nine, from past relationships and Madison, five, with Stephen - also described how the producer "went ballistic" when he learned she had taken the children to visit her mother last November and was "screaming and shouting profanity" down the phone at her.

Stephen has denied all the allegations against him.
