Megan Fox dumped from Transformers 3

SYDNEY - Hollywood beauty Megan Fox has been dumped from the third Transformers movie.

MTV News says Paramount Pictures has confirmed that the studio did not renew Fox's option for the film's third instalment.

US entertainment website Deadline reports it was director Michael Bay's decision not to give Fox another turn in the successful movie franchise.

Her character, Mikaela Banes, will be replaced by another love interest for Shia LaBeouf's character Sam Witwicky, it says.

In an interview in September 2009, Fox compared Bay to Hitler, saying he was a nightmare to work for.

Bay hit back, saying the actress "still has a lot of growing up to do".

There's speculation her replacement will be Prince of Persia star, British actress Gemma Arterton.

Meanwhile, Fox has confessed she's terrified of dirt and has a problem with public bathrooms and eating out.

"This is a sickness, I have an illness," the 24-year-old told Allure magazine's June issue.

The Hollywood star says she has a big problem with public bathrooms.

"Every time someone uses a bathroom and they flush, all the bacteria is shot into the air."

And she admits she finds it difficult to eat out in restaurants.

"Putting my mouth where a million other mouths have been, just knowing all the bacteria that you carry in your mouth? Ucch!"
