New Zealand's most passionate Fifty Shades of Grey fans have been found - and they live in Hamilton.
New research undertaken by movie studio Universal asked respondents from around the country what they thought about the raunchy film, which was released earlier this year and is based on EL James' best-selling book series.
Waikato topped the list with 49 per cent of respondents saying they were interested in the film, while Auckland ranked at 36 per cent, Wellington 33 per cent and Canturbury was last with just 31 per cent.
The research, which had 1000 participants, also found that interest in the film was equal between men and women, and one in five was keen to use the film to spice up a relationship.
One in 10 said they would watch Fifty Shades of Grey in the bedroom, and the same number said they wanted to learn more about the BDSM themes of the movie.
