Maze Runner actor Dylan O'Brien was injured in an horrific on-set accident back in March while filming the latest instalment in the sci-fi series - and since then, his condition has been shrouded in mystery.
The 24-year-old star was hit by a car filming a stunt for Maze Runner: The Death Cure. While the film's director Wes Ball initially assured fans that "after a few weeks of rest and recovery he'll be back up and running to finish our adventure together", it was reported in April that O'Brien's injuries were more substantial than first thought.

As news broke that filming had halted indefinitely and the release date of the film had been pushed back an entire year to January 2018, fears grew about the true extent of his injuries.
Now, following four-and-a-half months of public silence after his accident, the first picture of O'Brien has emerged - thanks to a chance meeting with a fan.
