Stan Lee was rushed to hospital for shortness of breath, but is now "feeling great".
The 95-year-old comic book legend - who is the founder of Marvel Comics - was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital after suffering shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat, according to TMZ.
A spokesperson for the star - who famously makes a cameo appearance in every Marvel franchise movie - told the gossip site a few hours later that Stan "is doing well and feeling good, he is staying there for a few days for some check ups as a safety precaution."
However, on Thursday, the star himself gave a short interview with ABC 7 in which he claimed he was "feeling great" after spending just one night in the hospital, and was now back at home getting well deserved rest.
He said: "All I really want to do is tell you that I'm feeling great."
