Sam from Married At First Sight has been blasted by viewers for refusing to take part in last night's reunion episode.
Sam was the only contestant missing from the finale, with the experts saying in last night's episode that he simply chose not to appear.
As reported by news.com.au's Megan Pustetto, Sam made the decision to bail on the reunion episode after being yelled at by Ines at the final dinner party.
Following their chat, Sam then received a private message on Instagram which read, "It's going to be your funeral tomorrow".
"He told producers that he refused to take part in the show anymore after the dinner party," a source told news.com.au.
"They (the producers) kept trying to make him reconsider, but he just said 'no' and told them that he wasn't going to be associated with people who were belittling him. He told them he was utterly embarrassed to be a part of the show."
However, other contestants branded Sam "too gutless" to face the music for his actions and to cop the wrath from his former wife Lizzie and lover Ines, as well as condemnation from the experts and his fellow cast members.
"After Ines ripped into him on the first night, he got a taste for what he was going to be in for the following night and he didn't want a bar of it," a fellow contestant explained. "He didn't want to own up for his wrongdoings and take responsibility for his actions."
Sam was booked in for an interview with KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O this morning but he bailed when he found out other contestants were also going to be present for the segment.
"Sam was going to come on but he didn't want anyone else in the conversation," Jackie O said on air this morning. "He wanted to do it on his own."
As viewers watched Ines and Elizabeth tear Sam to shreds in last night's episode, he was busy launching his new YouTube channel.
Sam shared a teaser video from the channel which showed him running around the street in a dinosaur costume.
"It's going to be a channel full of laughs and a reflection of my true self," he wrote in the caption of the teaser. "I look forward to sharing the content with you all."
