Mark Wahlberg takes his schedule very seriously, squeezing in multiple workouts and an incredibly early start.
When an Instagram fan asked how often the Hollywood icon works out, the 47-year-old Transformers actor offered a very detailed breakdown of his day which begins at 2:30am and ends at 7:30 pm.
On the actor, producer, mogul and rapper's check list were two major workouts that lasted more than an hour, two showers, snacks and meals, a cryo chamber recovery, golf and business meetings, in a routine that has baffled his fans.
Wahlberg also mentioned time with family. And it's nice to see he also picks up the kids from school.
He has four children with model wife Rhea Durham: Ella, 15, Michael, 12, Brendan, nine, and Grace, eight.
It all begins at 2:30 am when his alarm goes off. Next it's a prayer session. Then the action star has breakfast at 3: 15 am, his first meal of many throughout the day.
He previously told Men's Health that he likes to start his day with egg whites, sprouted-grain Ezekiel bread, almond butter and avocado.
From 3:40 am until 5:15 am he has a serious workout session that includes weight lifting.
Mark's 10 million Instagram followers will already know about his early workouts as he often shares videos of his gym sessions under the hashtag #4amclub.
At 5:30 am it's a workout meal and then a shower at 6 am, which bizarrely appears to last for 90 minutes.
By 7:30 am the Shooter actor is playing golf, which could be considered another workout, but only for 30 minutes as a snack follows at 8 am.
Wahlberg told Ellen DeGeneres about the benefits of cryotherapy in a recent interview.
"It is great for recovery, and it just takes all the inflammation out of your body [and] it helps you sleep," he said.
At 10:30 am, when most people in Hollywood are just getting to work, Mark eats again then he takes business calls. He also has family time, which must be challenging as all his kids are in school at this point.
At 2 pm he has more meetings and work calls. At 3 pm he picks up his kids at school then has another snack. At 4 pm it's time for his second workout of the day. It lasts until 5 pm at which point he takes a shower.
Dinner and family time comes at 5:30 pm and then at 7:30 pm he goes to sleep.
Incredulous fans took to social media to marvel at Mark's dedication, while some picked apart his timings.
"Mark Wahlberg claims he golfs 18 holes in an hour and a half and I have questions about that," one tweeter mused. Mark in fact told Men's Health last year that he can be found "sprinting" around the course.
Others lamented their own lack of motivation with one tweeter posting: "I saw a schedule that mark Wahlberg follows every day and wow what a way to make me feel like a complete ball of grease."
One fan called the daily schedule that of a "f**king maniac," while others pointed out evening activities the dedicated actor will always miss out on. "Mark Wahlberg has never watched the evening news," pointed out one.
Many questioned Mark's choices. "I've got a life hack for Mark... If you don't get up at 2:30 in the morning you might not need to spend an hour a day recovering in a cryo chamber," said one.
Speaking to Men's Health about his intense routine last year, Mark declared: "If you're doing the right things, then there's enough time in the day to get it all done."
And he thinks nothing of sacrificing the Hollywood glam in pursuit of his goals.
"There's no way I'm going out, eating dinner, drinking wine," he told the magazine. "I literally go home and go to bed. If I finish work at 8pm, I try to be in bed by 9pm. You gotta put the work in. Then you gotta get the rest and recovery."
