Mariah Carey goes full diva in new series Mariah's World

A first glimpse at Mariah Carey's new reality series Mariah's World has teased fans about the singer's planned wedding to James Packer and her bizarre diva demands.

The E! Channel eight-part exclusive is Carey's attempt to debunk some of the myths around her multi million-dollar lifestyle and career, telling the cameras: "I am not Cinderella. My life has not been a fairytale."

The sizzle reel follows the Grammy winner as she prepares for her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour of the UK, Europe and Africa, as well as her lavish nuptials to Australia's casino king.

As assistants suggest they bring in "Noah's Arc for your wedding," a serious Carey describes her third marriage as "the most important event that's ever happened."

Filmed rehearsing her concert choreography, the singer complains: "If all I had to do was sing my songs, my life would be so much easier."

Dancing around a mirrored studio, Carey explains one of her more unusual diva demands is if she is ever forced to be filmed in fluorescent lighting she must wear dark sunglasses, adding: "I know, it's very '90s."

The series will air globally across E! 's 17 international channels reaching 153 countries in 24 languages.
