Madonna says she has no right to tell her children not to do drugs because she dabbled with them herself.
The pop icon has been open about experimenting with illegal substances in her youth and believes it would be hypocritical for her to try and stop her children from following in her footsteps.
"I am not a big fan of drugs. They just don't suit me. The handful of times I have tried drugs, many years ago, I just didn't enjoy it. I wanted it out of me. I started guzzling bottles of water thinking that was going to end it," Madonna has told TV chat show host Jonathan Ross.

Speaking about the eldest of her four children, 18-year-old Lourdes, Madonna said: "I just ask my daughter to make wise decisions, do things in moderation and to try not to mix her alcohols. I am not going to say, 'No, don't do it,' because that is just absurd. And it is not fair. Yeah, I did it."
