Madonna is set to be the next guest on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke

Late Late Show host, Carpool Karaoke creator and Hunk of Burning Love James Corden.

James Corden is set to get a visit from the Material Girl herself for his next Carpool Karaoke.

Madonna is popping by The Late Late Show for the mega-successful segment, announcing the news on Instagram today.

Referring to Corden as a "Hunk of Burning Love", the photo shows the pair together but gives no hint of when the segment will air. The talk show later confirmed the news when they retweeted the photo, referring to it as "Just a typical Wednesday with Madonna".

It is not known why Madonna is taking a ride in the passenger seat, though a concert film based on Rebel Heart tour is set to air on American network Showtime on December 9th. The show spanned seven months and 55 countries, including New Zealand last March.

Carpool Karaoke has proved a massive viral hit for James Corden's Late Late Show. His video with Adele has over 133 million views, making it the most watched late night clip of all time.

Only time will tell if Madonna's video will be as successful. Here's hoping they don't try to vogue and drive though.
