Joel Madden has revealed he and his wife, Nicole Richie, are considering a move to Australia.
Madden, 33, a coach on hit show The Voice and one half of pop rock group Good Charlotte, has told News Ltd that they have been looking at schools in Sydney for their children and have been talking about leasing a place for the next year.
The couple are parents to daughter, Harlow, four, and son Sparrow, two.
"The kids, those are the only ones that I'm really protective of. You know what? One place that actually respects that in the world is Australia, which I love,'' Madden told The Sunday Telegraph.
"I'm loving it because usually I don't have the kids here. I love the light. I love the space. I love that unlike LA, if you want to find good food and space you don't have to drive to it,'' Madden said.
