"Gavin Bachelor" is a man who needs no introduction, because we've all seen his type on TV.
As host of the wildly successful Did I Believe It? science info-tainment series, Bachelor has been invading the nation's living rooms for about 31 years.
But this is the first time he and his fellow presenters have been let out of the studio to do a live show.
He admits none of his team has done anything as unique as the Silo Theatre/42Below collaboration, but says they're all professionals who can handle the pressure.
"A lot of people ask me what happens on a TV show during the commercial breaks. Well, this is their chance to find out," says Bachelor (Adam Gardiner). "Sometimes experiments can go awry so we did check there was a good blast radius to protect the audience."
He says the team is in the safe hands of director Oliver Driver and writer Jodie Molloy.
"I haven't worked with Oliver before, but our paths have crossed. He once wrote me a fan letter saying he wanted to be just like me when he grew up. I think he was about 25 at the time."
