Our favourite warrior princess is getting lawles for a night of rock 'n' roll revelry at the Kings Arms in Auckland on Sunday, May 27.
Known for her acting skills and, more recently, her Greenpeace activism, Lucy Lawless is also quite the singer, and at this one-off show she'll be showing off her rock 'n' roll talents with a set of wide-ranging covers - from Kiss' I Was Made For Loving You Baby, to Lana Del Rey's Blue Jeans, and the Killers' Somebody Told Me, plus many more bonafide classics.
She'll be joined by a swag of talent including songstresses Anika Moa and Julia Deans and musicians Scott Wotherspoon, Ben Jurisich and JaSonic Smith. Plus long-time Lawless compadre Joe Lo Duca - the composer of the Xena, Hercules and Spartacus soundtracks.
Warming the crowd up with a few laughs will be South African comedienne Urzila Carlson.
Tickets for Lucy Lawless and Friends are on sale now from Under the Radar.
