KEY POINTS:
She kissed our hunkiest TV actor, but admits she was "too nervous to remember". For the beautiful Celina Jaitley, a former Miss India and now one of India's most celebrated Bollywood actresses, kissing scenes aren't the norm for her.
"I haven't done many of those scenes before," the 27-year-old beauty told me. But she was happy to cuddle up to her former pucker pal, Ben Mitchell, again on Wednesday night.
Jaitley flew to New Zealand on a whistle-stop trip to promote their romantic comedy film Love Has No Language at Sylvia Park on Wednesday night.
She said filming in New Zealand "was an absolute pleasure," though "the cold was a bit tough". Coming from the stinking heat of India, it's no surprise.
She was also targeted by a stalker who followed her from India so she had a swarm of protective bodyguards on hand. She jetted out on Thursday morning but said she was planning to return to work on another film with director Ken Khan where she will play the role of an Iranian princess in Quest of Scheherazade alongside Hollywood hunk Orlando Bloom.
Sparks fly at Rich Lister wedding
Barry Colman got hitched to his fiancée Katie Silvey yesterday at a lavish reception in the garden of his Glendowie mansion overlooking Karaka Bay in the Hauraki Gulf.
The house - just along the road from billionaire Graeme Hart's estate - that his late wife Cushla Martini apparently spent $5m on restoring, was transformed into a sumptuous wedding venue for the noon ceremony between the multi-millionaire publisher and his fourth wife.
With an estimated fortune of $130 million, it's no surprise money wasn't an object, which makes it all that much more of a Cinderella fairytale for the bride Katie, otherwise known as Andrea Jane Silvey.
I've always found Katie-slash-Andrea to be a warm, gregarious woman. They're a great couple, and Colman was happy to confide details about his garden nuptials to Spy. He said it would be "just a family wedding... with 50 couples invited".
Small, elegant and intimate may have been the style for the garden wedding, but the party afterwards invited public participation. Colman splurged a fortune on an extravagant fireworks display to be set off from a barge in front of his cliff-top mansion at 8.30pm last night.
On Friday he invited boaties to enjoy the display on the Harbour. Silvey's father called her Katie and so does her new husband, who prefers it. "It suits her more than Andrea I reckon," Colman told a newspaper, "so I started calling her Katie and then all the people I know started calling her Katie."
So will it be name-change number three for Silvey? Katie Colman has a better ring, don't you think?
The pair met at an All Blacks Bledisloe match in 2006, soon after Colman had split from his girlfriend Deborah Simpson, the mother of his child. Colman's wife Cushla had passed away from cancer. So, will your son be a guest at your wedding? I asked Colman. He didn't seem very impressed with the question saying, "I don't think so! Would you invite a 2-year-old to your wedding?" I would if he was my son, but who am I to judge? It's believed Colman and Simpson have a somewhat distant relationship.
So, what did the bride wear? Kevin Berkahn who designed the dress, was staying tight-lipped. "I can't say, it's meant to be confidential. I'm one of the only ones who knows." The Colmans - who are believed to have signed a matrimonial property agreement and pre-nup - will be honeymooning on their superyacht Liberte IV.
We sincerely wish them a happy future together.
