India Yelich-O'Connor wants to follow in her Grammy-winning sister's globe-trotting footsteps - and wants you to help pay her way.
Lorde's 16-year-old sister is tapping into her 30,000-plus followers on social media to help fund her two-year leadership programme with not-for-profit organisation Global Volunteer Network. As part of the programme she will travel to Uganda, Vietnam or Costa Rica.
And it appears she hasn't yet hit up superstar sister Lorde (Ella Yelich-O'Connor), who is estimated to have earned at least $11 million from her hit single Royals, for a few dollars towards her campaign.
Global Volunteer Network spokeswoman Fiona Millar said Yelich-O'Connor was one of 150 New Zealand teenagers selected as the country's first intake of ambassadors.
Last year, India uploaded a cover version of Great Big World and Christina Aguilera's hit Say Something onto SoundCloud. The track received more than 50,000 hits in the weeks after its release.
