Kiwi superstar Lorde has teamed up with the Electoral Commission in bid to get young people into polling booths in this year's election.
The commission worked with Lorde to produce two videos of the singer talking about why voting is important and how important it is for young people to have a say in the coming elections.
And while the singer isn't older enough to vote herself - she's just 17 - she says she can't wait to vote.
She likens it to a rite of passage, not dissimilar to going to a bar for the first time or driving a car.
She says politics can seem like a bunch of old people on the TV ranting at each other, "and it doesn't feel particularly influenced by people like us".
