Lorde has claimed another first - a cover spot on music magazine Rolling Stone.
The Kiwi pop star appears on this week's edition of the American weekly publication, under the headline, "The girl who broke the rules".
The magazine is out on Friday, and includes a feature article written by contributing editor Rob Tannenbaum which promises to unveil "the story behind the rise of pop's most unlikely new superstar".
"I get paralysingly nervous a lot of times, so I tried bravado," Lorde tells Tannenbaum.
"The way I dress and carry myself, a lot of people find it intimidating. I think my whole career can be boiled down to the one word I always say in meetings: strength."
