Lorde's Royals has racked up yet another international number one with her breakthrough single going to the top of the charts in Britain.
Having conquered the Billboard Hot 100 in the US, the hit has also become the biggest selling song in Canada and Ireland too.
In Britain, Royals debuted in the top spot beating UK X Factor star James Arthur whose You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You went into the charts in the number two position.
Lorde's debut album Pure Heroine is released in Britain and much of Europe this week having been released in the US, Australia and New Zealand at the end of September.
The critically acclaimed album peaked at number three in the US and is now at number seven. Pure Heroine has topped the Australian charts and remains at the top of the NZ charts.
