Kiwi singer Lorde is mingling with pop royalty.
Her hit single Royals has scored the No. 8 spot on Billboard's US singles charts, alongside superstars like Eminem, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke and Lady Gaga.
Billboard reported Royals had risen from No. 12 to No. 8 this week, but is sitting at No. 1 on the Alternative Songs airplay chart for the fourth week in a row.
Royals - Lorde's debut single - was played 2.8 million times on streaming sites and 57 million times on radio stations in America, Billboard reported.
The producer of Royals, former Goodnight Nurse member Joel Little celebrated with this tweet: "I may be top 10 in the US but it doesn't mean my 2 year old wont still come in to the bathroom while I'm in the shower and take a big s***."
