Singer Lorde has branded US entertainment reporters "creeps" following rumours she and boyfriend James Lowe were engaged.
The teen voiced her opinions on Twitter, posting an email her photographer beau received from an E! journalist asking if the pair were engaged after photographs emerged which showed Lorde - real name Ella Yelich-O'Connor - with a sparkler on her ring finger.

Her post has been retweeted by nearly 2000 people and 'favourited' by more than 6000 fans.
Rumours of her pending nuptials were rife last week after photographs of Lorde leaving the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston with a ring on her wedding finger emerged.
