Lindsay Lohan has pleaded "not guilty" in court about lying to police.
The Liz & Dick star - who is possibly facing up to eight months in jail after her probation was revoked last month because she allegedly lied to police about being behind the wheel of her car during an accident last June - has been told she must personally appear in court on January 30 after her long term lawyer Shawn Holley turned up to represent Lohan at her hearing and registered a "not guilty" plea on her behalf relating to her three misdemeanour charges despite being fired.
The 26-year-old troubled starlet signed a termination letter that was then sent to Holley by her new lawyer Mark Heller, who did not appear at her arraignment this morning.
But according to gossip website TMZ.com, Holley said she still technically represents the actress for the moment as she hasn't formally been removed from the case by the judge, which stopped the judge from issuing a bench warrant for her arrest.
Sources revealed that Lindsay told Holley that she was cancelling her termination yesterday and allegedly ordered her new New York lawyer Heller to send her a letter to confirm this but it never arrived.
