KEY POINTS:
Lleyton Hewitt has become the latest tennis champion to have a song written in his honour.
Hewitt joins fellow tennis heroes Anna Kournikova, Maria Sharapova, Roger Federer, Andy Roddick and Rafael Nadal to be immortalised in song by American cult-pop band, Binge.
The New York-based outfit, known for their rock songs about the talents and abilities of tennis players around the world, wrote the tune, C'mon Lleyton Hewitt.
"We saw Lleyton play in New York last September and were inspired by his intensity and ability to hang tough in difficult situations," Binge's singer and songwriter John Macom said.
Their latest offering will be included in a tennis-themed album scheduled for release later this year.
