Lorde is up against four others in tonight's Apra Silver Scrolls songwriting award.
Will it be Marlon Williams, Mel Parsons, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Anthonie Tonnon or Lorde? Tune into tonight's Apra Silver Scrolls awards from 7pm to find out.
Lorde is poised to reclaim her throne at the top of New Zealand music, but faces some stiff competition from the likes of Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
The Kiwi international heavyweights will tonight face off for the APRA Silver Scroll song-writing award.
While the nomination for Lorde's Hunger Games hit Yellow Flicker Beat is the third in a row for producer Joel Little - he also co-wrote Brood's Bridges - the singer herself won the award last in 2013 and hosted the show last year.
The power duo will be facing off against Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Multi-Love, written by former Mint Chicks members Ruban and Kody Nielson.
Songwriting from lesser-known Kiwis also features, with Marlon Williams, Anthonie Tonnon and Mel Parsons making up the top five nominees.
Finalists:
• Dark Child - written by Tim Moore and Marlon Williams, performed by Marlon Williams • Get Out Alive - Mel Parsons • Multi-Love - written by Ruban and Kody Nielson, performed by Unknown Mortal Orchestra • Water Underground - Anthonie Tonnon • Yellow Flicker Beat - written by Ella Yelich-O'Connor and Joel Little, performed by Lorde
