A musical based on the Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder is coming to the stage and will make its debut in the US state where the author spent many of her childhood years.
Little House on the Prairie will premiere next summer at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis.
The books present a version of Wilder's years growing up in the 1870s and 1880s, when the Ingalls family lived in Wisconsin, Kansas, Minnesota and South Dakota.
