Lisa Marie Presley admitted she "occasionally" asks her late father Elvis Presley for help in a candid interview on ITV's Lorraine this week.
The 50-year-old singer-songwriter doesn't often talk to her famous dad - who died of Myocardial infarction in 1977 - but she will reach out to him when she feels like she needs some guidance because she feels "very connected" to him.
Speaking on the daytime show, Lisa said of their duet Where No One Stands Alone: "I just felt really emotional. It's never pleasant to sing and cry. I had to keep my composure, but I felt very connected to him and to the song."
The singer explained: "I wouldn't say I talk to [him], I just remember everything and I can just sort of pull out of the files whatever memory I have and stuff like that and occasionally ask for help... which was the case with this record. I felt like a hand came down to me."
Lisa has always felt a strong bond with her father but she has admitted her belief was reinstated when she saw a quote from him during a new family exhibit, the Daily Mail reports.
