A cosmetics company is suing US actress Teri Hatcher for US$2 million, accusing her of breaking an advertising contract by promoting a rival brand's lip gloss.
The Hydroderm company lodged a case in a Los Angeles court against the 43-year-old star of the hit series Desperate Housewives, saying she endorsed products of another firm, City Cosmetics, despite being contracted since November 2005 to promote Hydroderm.
