Lindsay Lohan has revealed she plans to make her permanent home in London because it is the ideal place for her to "grow up".
The actress has recently appeared in Speed-the-Plow at the Playhouse Theatre in the West End.
In an interview with The Observer's The New Review, she said she plans to remain in the capital rather than returning to Los Angeles.
"I can go for a run here on my own. I do every morning, early. I needed to grow up and London is a better place for me to do that than anywhere else," Lohan said.
Lohan, 28, grew up in the glare of the spotlight after she found fame aged 11 in The Parent Trap, but in recent years she has been in the headlines more for her troubled private life than her acting after stints in jail and rehab.
