Youth arts festival Ignite07 returns to The Edge next week for its sixth year.
The two-week-long festival encourages performers between 15 and 25 to be "loud, proud and confident", developing their skills in theatre, dance, music and visual arts.
In addition to workshops and master classes, the festival will host a variety of exhibitions, performances and seminars.
An interactive, multimedia exhibition, The New Cool, will run throughout the festival, exploring the country's rising entrepreneurs and "new cool" of business.
The Best of Flip the Script returns to this year's programme, hosted by comedian Jan Maree. Audiences will be treated to five nights of mini-melodramas before the grand final on May 5.
Special student matinees Maui - One Man Against the Gods, Up Close and Out Loud and Renu O Te Ra - The Edge of the Sun will run throughout the festival.
