Lenny Kravitz shows he has a sense of humour, poking fun at his "penisgate" incident in a video game advert with his buddy, actor James Franco.
Kravitz is shown playing a new edition of the video game Guitar Hero, when his "sexy" moves draw faux-concern from Franco.
"Alright, it's prettysexy, just don't split your pants," he says to Kravitz, referencing the incident earlier this year when the rock star ripped his pants on stage during a concert in Sweden, exposing his penis to the crowd.
Dubbed penisgate on social media, photos of the rock star's genitals were circulated widely in early August, which was criticized by some.
Kravitz took the incident in stride, commenting on it at the time by posting a text message from his friend Steven Tyler of Aerosmith to twitter with the hashtag #penisgate.
Guitar Hero Live will hit stores on October 23, with the likes of Alt-J, Ed Sheeran, Haim, The Killers and Catfish And The Bottlemen among those on the soundtrack.
Jamie Jackson of FreeStyle said to NME of the game's music choices: "It's been 10 years since the first Guitar Hero game came out. When you think of it like that, and think about how much the musical landscape has changed since then - that's where we've been able to explore some new types of musical style as well. Guitar music is broader than it's ever been - so we're reflecting that in the range of music on offer."
