Actor Lena Dunham is back on her feet just three weeks after undergoing emergency surgery for a ruptured ovarian cyst.
The Girls creator and star was admitted to hospital on March 5 with the very painful condition that was the result of her ongoing battle with chronic gynaecological condition endometriosis.
She was treated and released to continue her recovery at home on March 7 and on Friday Dunham assured fans she was firmly on the mend as she stepped out to run errands in Los Angeles.
The 29-year-old was photographed out and about in a red skirt and a T-shirt bearing the words: "Sex, Politics & TV".
At the time of her hospital discharge, she reached out to fans on Instagram to thank them for their support.
