Radio Hauraki host Leigh Hart has apologised on air and to his team after dropping an F-bomb during yesterday afternoon's Bhuja! show.
Hauraki boss Mike Lane confirmed the station had received "a couple of complaints" after the incident, in which Hart told a listener who had texted in: "Well, tell you what, you can go f*** yourself."
Lane said Hart "massively regrets" the comment and he is not on air today.
Hart and his co-host Jason Hoyte are known for sometimes getting themselves into dicey scenarios on air.
In April they made headlines after storming out of an interview with Thor: Ragnarok star Karl Urban, leaving him alone in the studio.
