KEY POINTS:
Brendon Pongia's golden run on Dancing With the Stars ended last night, leaving the former Tall Black more than a little disappointed.
Speaking on The Edge radio station this morning, the former Tall Black confessed he had spent the night out drinking and had not been home since last night's show.
Four hours later, Pongia appeared on TV One's Good Morning programme alongside dance partner Haley Holt, who was looking particularly bleary-eyed.
Stumbling over their words, the pair managed a brief interview with Barry Soper and Sarah Bradley, during which Holt said males were at a disadvantage in the competition.
She said it was harder to lead male dancers and make it appear natural and she felt the judges should make allowances for this when marking the couples.
