Since she's up for six awards at this year's music awards Ladyhawke thought it would be a good time to do some shows in her homeland after a long stint overseas. The New Zealand-born electro pop queen - real name Pip Brown - will do a three-date headlining tour in October, including a show at Auckland's Powerstation on October 31. Brown is up for Album of the Year at the October 8 awards, for her self-titled debut which includes the singles Paris Is Burning and My Delirium, as well as the People's Choice Award, and is a contender for the International Achievement Award.
On a more jumped-up electro level, Colorado duo 3OH!3, made up of Sean Foreman and Nath Motte, support Swedish Eurodance exponent Basshunter on his five-date tour of New Zealand which includes two shows at Auckland's TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre on October 5 and 6.
