A screenwriter reportedly hired to remake David Bowie's Labyrinth has dismissed suggestions the beloved movie is set for a reboot.
Speculation about a new version of the 1986 classic began circulating after the music legend's death from cancer earlier this month, with reports suggesting Guardians of the Galaxy writer Nicole Perlman had signed up to revamp the script.
However, Perlman has now set the record straight about the project, insisting a Labyrinth remake is not happening.
"Guys, please don't fall for all the clickbait," she wrote in a series of posts on Twitter.
"No one is remaking Labyrinth. That movie is perfect as it is."
