The singer is expected to be joined by her parents and sister Dannii for a lavish sit-down dinner in Germany to celebrate.
Minogue who is currently on her X tour, has been hitting the shops in Europe in between her concert tour performances to choose gifts for guests invited to celebrate her birthday at a big bash.
A source close to the singer told the Sun newspaper that the singer had asked guests not to bring gifts "as she knows she is near-impossible to buy for".
