Kiwibank, Pak 'N Save added to Grand Theft Auto V

Local businesses and icons are being immortalised in Grand Theft Auto V by a Kiwi man on a break from his day job at a freezing works.

Waipukurau resident Andre Hema-Kani has created textures for Tui, Kiwibank, Pak 'N Save, and others for the popular open world title, Stuff.co.nz reported.

One of his images shows a patched Mongrel Mob member outside a Kentucky Fried Chicken store.

Hema-Kani hasn't released his work as a mod just yet, as he's worried he'll get into trouble for his use of the associated copyrights.

He will continue creating distinctly Kiwi content though.

"I cant believe I didn't think of that sooner. This is definitely going to happen," he wrote in response to a request for the building on Reddit.

When he's not creating textures for GTA, father-of-two Hema-Kani works at a freezing works.
